Martin is organist and music director at Knox Presbyterian Church St. Thomas.  Martin studied at the University of Music in Vienna, where he was awarded the degree of “Magister der Künste” (Master of Music) in organ. There also, he earned degrees in piano, piano pedagogy and choral conducting. Further studies at the University of Music “Mozarteum” in Salzburg led to a degree in orchestral conducting.   Among his teachers were pianist Harald Ossberger, organist Alfred Mitterhofer and conductor Michael Gielen. 
   Martin performed concerts on many famous European organs, among them the Sieber organ in St. Michael, Vienna, Austria and the Stier-Mockers organ in Saint Marguerite, Riquewihr, France.
